We are looking for a Head of Growth & Retention to join our team at Pepper Rewards. You will play an imperative role in shaping and implementing our paid media strategy and performance marketing tactics to drive new customer acquisition while obsessing over metrics and delivering measurable results. You will manage a set of successful channel strategies, execute a set of well-structured tests, roll out evergreen and seasonal campaigns, and optimize performance against a clear set of performance goals. You should have hands-on experience developing, planning, launching and analyzing customer acquisition programs to drive sustainable and efficient CAC at scale. To be successful in this role, you will be able to both see the big picture and execute rapidly.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal and external partners to develop and execute Pepper’s customer acquisition and retention strategy
  • Manage daily performance marketing across Paid & Organic Media channels, including but not limited to Paid and Organic Social, Paid Search, UGC, Mobile User Acquisition, and Retargeting / reengagement, in order to hit quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Actively strategize, investigate and execute hypotheses in each channel to optimize performance including audiences, creative, and landing pages.
  • Perform iterative testing across all acquisition tactics and touchpoints
    Establish performance measurement criteria and KPIs to track progress toward business growth objectives, presenting results and recommendations based on program performance.
  • Identify new growth opportunities by using customer insights, product and performance data, market trends, and growth best practices.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of strong experience managing online acquisition channels, digital marketing experience working for a marketplace company or subscription model a plus (eg: DoorDash, Instacart, Uber, Lyft, GrubHub, etc)
  • Can work with ease across multiple digital advertising platforms and partners
  • You are a quick study who is able to learn the nitty-gritty details of executing while maintaining a keen eye on the big picture and the “why” of what you’re doing.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the marketing funnel along with how and where.
  • A highly analytical and data-driven mindset; you have strong knowledge of data tools and are able to leverage data and research to drive decisions

    Nice To Have

    • Experience using SQL, Snowflake, Mode or other data platforms
    • Marketplace or subscription model growth marketing app experience (DoorDash, Uber, Instacart etc.)
